Tacts: Smart Contact Manager, Group Text & Email and Favorites App Reviews

This app worked great for me for months. Very easy to understand and grouped contacts with very little effort. After my update the groups show up in tacts but no longer grouped in my contacts. If you get this fixed I will give you five stars until then three. THESE ISSUES WERE FIXED!! THANK YOU! It is so much easier managing a lot of contacts with this app. If you had problems after the update you may have to go back in and reorganize groups!!! One of the most helpful apps!!

I dont even use my contacts native app anymore its that good.

GREAT APP but limited in icons. Also if it added contact avatar caricatures like the blackberry it would be over the top.

I just wanted a group feature for my native contacts app. Why didnt Apple include that in the first place?!! It works....whatever you group in tacts now shows up in the native app just the way I grouped them. No more hunting through 3000 contacts for one of my friends phone number. I also have a group for customers, and one for prospects, so I know whos calling.

This is a must have app! It lets me quickly organize my contact list into groups for each sports team that I coach. Then it allows me to send a blast text out to everyone in that group. Wish it had more icons like a baseball and basketball. But functionality is wonderful and it has more features to uncover. Great app. And its free. Even better!!

Perfect. Just what I was looking for!

I like how the groups I created in the App show up in the native contact list. I dont think the similar App, Text2Group, has that feature. However the Tacts App takes way too long to set up groups because you have to go into each contact individually and add them to the group (the other App you can select many contacts at once by check marking by their names and save to a group all at once.) its ok if you just got the phone and are adding contacts, but if you already have 200 contacts in your phone it can take forever! Otherwise App works great and is easy to figure out.

I just down loaded this application. The human interface is cluttered and difficult to use. I could not readily find any help on how to use oit. After a few minutes trying to figure it out, gave up and went searching for an app. with a better user interface (and found it). The functionality may be OK. But I never could get past the user interface.

I had to mail to a group I created on my Mac at home and found the iPhone mail app wouldnt see the group. I was in a rush to reach the group Another group app kept crashing but Tacts saved the day!! Thank you!

I set up all my groups. Created I text message and it said it sent, but no one received it!

I wanted to search any field any file and though you have to tell it which field to search it will find even part of a phone number. It would be better if it would just search all fields rather than having to specify. Further search improvement would be an app that would search the entire iPhone in any file for a string.

My contact list is bigger than 800 people and I sync it with my Outlook. I could not believe that my iPhone could not do what the oldest flip phone was able to do: assign multiple groups on the phone and/or the PC and keep the in synch. Well , this app solved this problem for me!

I got rid of the touch tones when dialing on the apple installed dialer only to have them come back with this app. There are no "*" or "#" keys on the dialer. Cumbersome to use. Cant change settings to make dialer the default opening screen. Too many touches to get to where you want to go. Odd and visually in appealing colors.

This would be a great app if they added option to show photos when in groups, a couple of font choices, and theme options. The black is OK but something more like their awesome keyboard theme would be a nice change. I keep going back to other contact manager apps because I want to see photos iin my group lists.

I lost the keypad access that I purchased with the most recent update. Please fix. I use this daily and it is otherwise a very good app.

Whats up with the message to update but theres no update available???

It wont let me send any text messages nor emails.. This needs to be fix immediately... You shouldnt miss represent an app.. Ive had free apps that were better than this... I will spread the word about this app not being a good one if there isnt an update soon

For some reason after upgrading to ios 6 & then updating Tacts, now i cannot send texts. Whats up? And Tacts support has not responded to my concern. Are you going to fix this or not?

This app is quite good and beats the stock phone app by leaps and bounce. You can search by notes, companies, names etc., choose icons and more, details which the stock app lacks in. Having said that, the "keypad" needs to implement the "#" and "*" keys, in order to access carriers mailbox/balance etc. features. Otherwise an awesome app. Thanks.

Like it a lot! Could there be an update to include # and *? Perhaps even the ability to customize the dial pad wallpaper?
